Should I Get a Standard Humbucker Bridge Pickup or a Trembucker Bridge Pickup?

We offer most of our Humbucker bridge pickups in either Standard Spacing or Trembucker pole spacing. Use the following guidelines to determine which is right for your particular guitar.

Standard Humbucker version: Standard Humbucker Spacing (1.930"/49mm E-to-E) fits fixed-bridge guitars with tune-o-matic or similar bridges, often found on Gibson guitars. Most guitars with stock humbuckers will use standard humbucker spacing. If your spacing is greater than 2", the Trembucker version may be a better choice.

Trembucker version: Trembucker Spacing (2.070"/52.6mm E-to-E) lines up the magnets more directly under the strings on guitars equipped with Fender style Vintage or Standard tremolo bridges, or Floyd Rose type bridges, or fixed bridge guitars with string spacing wider than 2". If your spacing is 2" or less, the Humbucker version is the better choice. NOTE: bobbins of our Trembucker models are slightly longer than a standard Humbucker.
