All Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster bridge pickups are built with South Up polarity facing strings and counter-clockwise wind direction.
All Seymour Duncan neck Jazzmasters are North Up, with clockwise wind direction, for hum-cancelling when combined with bridge pickups.
Jazzmaster Silencer sets also have neck pickups with North top center coil polarity and bridge pickups with South facing strings polarity, to ensure phase consistency with other models of our Jazzmaster line.
