Are Seymour Duncan MortalCoil Multiple-Voiced Active pickups compatible with other brands of multiple voiced or single-voiced active pickups wiring harnesses?

For most guitars that already have multiple-voiced active pickup wiring harnesses, the MortalCoil Multiple-Voiced Active pickups should be as simple as removing the prior pickups and attaching the existing quick connect cables to the appropriate location on the MortalCoil baseplates.
